Audiobooks: Our audiobook collection of over 1400 titles consists mainly of unabridged fiction and nonfiction, and includes many titles from the Commandant's Reading List. The emphasis in our juvenile collection is unabridged fiction.

Biography: The biographies are a part of our general nonfiction collection and are located in the 920s. Total 811 volumes.

Cassette: The cassette collection contains recordings of jazz, classical, and popular music. In addition, we have a wide selection of foreign language instructional tapes. Total 1974 volumes.

Music: Our collection of recorded music contains both CD's and audiocassettes; we have over 2000 titles. We have recordings of jazz, classical, and popular music. In addition, we have a wide selection of foreign language instructional tapes.

Fiction: The fiction collection consists of classics and popular fiction. Our large science fiction and fantasy section is shelved separately in the same area. Westerns, story collections, large print, detective, and mystery, science fiction, and fantasy are designated in the online catalog and on the spine labels. This collection contains more than 11,000 volumes.

Juvenile: Our juvenile collection of over 8,000 titles contains books and audiovisual materials for pre-school through young adult. The collection includes reference, general nonfiction, fiction, picture books, audiobooks, cassettes, videocassettes, and magazines. The juvenile lease collection is shelved separately in the juvenile section.

McNaughton: The adult and juvenile lease collections contain current popular fiction and nonfiction. The lease collection is shelved separately from the general collection, and normally consists of close to 1500 titles.

Nonfiction: Our nonfiction collection of over 23,000 volumes is general in nature, with a concentration of military science, business, and history. Biographies are included in this collection, and are shelved in the 920s.

Magazines: The library has a small collection of general-interest magazines with additional professional and technical periodicals for military personnel. Our off-duty educational programs pay for our subscriptions to technical publications to support their curricula. We have a substantial back file of periodicals on microfilm.

Professional Military Collection: The professional military collection (CMC and CNO) is comprised of fiction and general nonfiction books and audiobooks. The books are shelved separately from the general collection, except for the audiobooks, which are shelved with the general audiobook collection. Both CMC and CNO books and audiobooks are designated in the online catalog and on spine labels. Collection size is over 1000 volumes.

Reference: The library's general reference collection of over 4500 volumes includes substantial works of military science, business, and history. A number of resources are available on CD-ROM.

CD-ROM: A new addition to our library is a small circulating collection of CD-ROM titles for both children and adults. This collection includes educational and how-to titles, plus some reference titles and games.

Video: The video collection of over 700 titles contains a selection of feature films, movies based on books, nonfiction, and self instruction videos. The collection includes a large section of military history documentaries, and many film classics listed in the National Film Registry.
