The book collection includes more than 40,000 titles and we have subscriptions to 143 periodicals. The basic collection consists of:

Biography: We have Adult Biography (B), Young Adult Biography (YAB), Japan, Japan Biography (JAPAN B), McNaughton Adult (MCN B), and Young Adult (MCN YA B), Professional Military Collection.

CDs: Christmas, Christian, Classical, Country, Children, Easy Listening, Ethnic, Jazz/Big Band, Rap/R&B, Rock, Soul, Soundtracks.

Cultural Section:Includes books on Japan. Language programs are available on cassette.

Fiction: Adult Fiction, Young Adult Fiction, Japan Fiction.

Juvenile: A multi-purpose room with a children's corner is available by reservation. The Children's area is complete with toys and stuffed animals. Activity Packs, backpacks filled with multimedia information on a variety of topics, are available for checkout. Included in the packs are videos, books, activities, puppets and fun things to do.

McNaughton: We have two McNaughton collections: adult and young adult. Both contain fiction, nonfiction, and biography.

Nonfiction: Adult, Young Adult, Japan, McNaughton Adult, and McNaughton Young Adult.

Magazines and Newspapers: 150 titles, older issues circulate.

New Books: Displays for Adults, Young Adults and Children.

Oprah's Book Club Arrive a few weeks after being announced and may be reserved in advance.

Professional Military Collection: Commandant's Reading List fiction, nonfiction, and biography titles.

Reference: Adult Reference, Young Adult Reference, and Japan Reference.

Study guides: Full sets of DANTES and CLEP subject examinations in hardcopy and videocassette.
