SERVICES
Circulation: ID cards qualify active duty, reservists, military dependents, students attending base colleges, DOD employees and MCCS employees to register as patrons. All materials (with exception to videos) are checked out for two weeks. Videos are checked out for one week.
New! MP3 /CD players are now available for checkout
Reference: Four Internet access computers are available to patrons for email and research in addition to a variety of word processing computers. One typewriter and one microfiche reader are also available. Access to several on-line research databases is provided. See the librarian for passwords.
Interlibrary Loan: We have access to all USMC and state public libraries.
Bookmobile Two bookmobiles serve base housing and outlying troop areas. Each bookmobile has its own circulating collection. Schedules and additional information are available at the library and on the MCCS Lejeune Website.
Fax & Copier Service: Public fax service is available to all patrons at a cost of $1 per page to send/receive within the U.S., $2 per page to send overseas. Two copiers and reader/printer copies are available at a cost of ten cents per page.
Conference Room: Our conference room includes two large tables seating twelve. A podium, dry erase board, overhead projector, TV, VCR and chairs for extra seating are provided. The room will comfortably hold 30 people. Call the library to reserve.
Study Rooms:Two small, enclosed study cubicles that seat two people are available, one with a TV and VCR.
Notary: Available on a limited basis at no charge. Please call to make an appointment.
Audio/Visual Equipment: Our equipment, which includes TV's, VCR's, microfilm reader/printers, overhead projector and cassette type players are for in house use only.
Program: The library holds weekly Storytimes, monthly book discussions and annual summer reading programs in addition to a variety of other programs presented throughout the year. Click on the EVENTS link for more information on current programs.
Dial-A-Story: Call 451-3442 to listen to a new story each day.
Learning Resource Center (LRC): The Marine Corps' first LRC (computer lab) is located in the library and has 19 computers available for word processing and Internet access for research only (no email). For more information, call 451-6760.
