Carney Library at Mainside

Bookmobile Services: Bookmobile service to housing areas and military units.

Circulation: A liberal loan period of 28 days for books. Books such as bestsellers may be limited to 14 days. All books can be renewed if there is no one waiting for the title.

Children's Story Hour: Simple crafts are part of the program. There are extensive summer reading clubs as well.

Community Meetings: The library hosts clubs and groups. A meeting room is available.

Computer/Internet: Staff provides limited assistance to computer users.

Interlibrary Loans: Books may be borrowed from other Marine Corps libraries if not available locally.

Reference Service: Available daily at the Carney Library in person or by phone (DSN)365-5669 (KNOW), or COM (760) 725-5669 (KNOW).

Equipment Services: Copier, fax, typewriter, microform reader/printer, laminator, Ellison die cut lettering machine.
